Registering to for the Aarrow Auto Commercial Contest

In order to enter your recording in the Aarrow Auto commercial contest, you must create an account so that our website can keep track of your contact information and the files you have uploaded. To create an account, fill out the registration form that appears on the "Upload Page".

The Registration Form

The registration form appears as follows:


The fields are self explanatory; fields marked with a * are required. The last field corresponds with the white image that contains a string of light purple letters. This image generates a random code that you must input as the "anti-spam" code. Entering the code ensures that you are legitimately registering and prevents spammers from attacking our website.

When you have filled out and submitted the form, the page will refresh with the following message above the fields where you can now use your Username and Password to log in:

Error Messages

If you make a mistake, the page will refresh and a red error message will appear above the registration form explaining the error:


You did not fill out all the fields. Make sure to enter your name, password(x2), email, phone, as well as the anti-spam code, or the registration will not be succsessful.



The registration form requires you to enter your password twice to double check that you typed it correctly. If the two you enter do not match, the form will ask that you try again.



If you make a mistake entering the anti-spam code, the registration form will not submit. Be careful to type in all the letters you see correctly.

Uploading a File

Once you are logged in, the Upload page will display a form that allow you to submit an audio or video file to the Aarrow Auto commercial contest.

Finding Your File

To upload your audio file, click the "Browse" button on the Upload page:

This will make a window appear which will allow you to navigate your computer and find the audio or video file you wish to upload:


Once you have found and selected your file, text corresponding to your file will appear in the field next to the browse button. Now, click "Upload" to submit your file to our website.

File Formats (Extensions)

A file's format, or extension, refers to what type of file it is. Our system only process MP3 and WMA format audio files, and MOV, WMV, and AVI format video files. Make sure to save your recordings in one of these formats before you attempt to upload them.

Error Messages

If you successfully submit your file, you will be redirected to a page that displays a thank you message and the name of your file. If there are any problems, the form will reset and an error message will appear above it in red:


A file by that name is already stored in our system. You can simply rename your audio file and re-upload it to solve this issue.



You've submitted the upload form without actually specifying a file to upload. Make sure to follow the proper uploading instructions above.



The type of file you've submitted is not a MP3, WMA, MOV, WMV, or AVI file. The example above reads JPG, but the message will change depending on what type of file you attempted to upload. By limiting the allowed files to the audio and video types above, we are helping to ensure that it is not possible to upload malicious files to the site.



If for some reason the upload form cannot receive the file you are submitting, you will see this message. Try uploading your file again. If the problem persists, contact our office and let us know.
